Job summary

Team Ambulance seeks a qualified EMT with AEMT certification to respond to emergencies and inter-facility transfers in the Knoxville area. You will provide on-scene care, ambulance transport, and adherence to TMHC policies and state regulations.

Responsibilities include maintaining vehicle readiness, performing infection control, and assisting in leading EMS teams during calls, while ensuring the highest quality patient care throughout all stages of transport.

Qualifications

• Current AEMT certification by state
• CPR - Basic Life Support current by recognized body
• Ability to work with minimal supervision using sound judgment
• Ability to deliver high-quality patient care
• Ability to lead teams in emergency situations

Responsibilities

• Respond to select medical/traumatic emergencies and inter-facility transfers.
• Provide emergency care at scene, en route, and during transport.
• Use ALS/BLS procedures per Tennessee guidelines and TMHC policies.
• Ensure vehicle/equipment readiness and daily checklists.
• Maintain infection control and universal precautions.
• May act as team leader and supervise other EMS personnel.
