Job summary

Catholic Charities in Hartford, CT is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support the development of infants and toddlers in our early childhood program. Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to enroll in a CDA program leading to a Child Development Associate credential or higher.
• Be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and supervise a class of infants and toddlers (6 weeks-3 years) according to the center’s core curriculum.
• Ensure health, safety and well-being through a structured schedule and development program.
• Interface professionally with parents and participate in parent-teacher conferences.
