Job Description

Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the hotel, all the while providing amazing service to our guests. Act as an advocate for the hotel, create personalized experiences, and develop relationships with guests to encourage their return.

Responsibilities include:

1. Ensure that the lobby, hallways, public areas, including the sidewalk, brass awning poles, signage, entrance, and alley are kept clean.
2. Clean and set up meeting rooms according to function sheets.
3. Perform deep cleaning of areas, including shampooing rooms and public spaces as assigned.
4. Set up and maintain lobby functions such as morning coffee service and evening concierge events.
5. Deliver housekeeping items (hair dryers, ironing boards, irons, etc.) to guest rooms upon request.
6. Receive assignments, keys, pagers, and special guest requests from your supervisor at the start of your shift.
7. Check and replenish supplies and cleaning tools.
8. Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests.
9. Return lost items with proper documentation to the Housekeeping Department.
10. Perform additional responsibilities outside of this job post as needed, as part of the team at Kimpton.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in customer service or a similar role.
• Previous housekeeping experience is a plus.
• Passion for customer service, good verbal communication, and basic writing skills.
• Flexible schedule to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.
