Job summary

St. Croix Hospice seeks a compassionate Hospice Aide (CNA) to join its care team.

You will provide direct personal care and support to hospice patients in their homes, following each patient’s Plan of Care and coordinating with the RN Case Manager to ensure comfort and quality of life. Responsibilities include assisting with bathing and daily activities, mobility support, meal help, and maintaining a safe home environment.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant license in the state of practice.
• Minimum age 18+.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct personal care (bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, linen changes).
• Assist with mobility, transfers, meals, and light household tasks.
• Monitor patient condition and report to RN Case Manager.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation and environment.
• Support family caregivers emotionally.
