Job summary

St. Croix Hospice is seeking a compassionate Hospice Aide (CNA) to join our interdisciplinary team. You will provide direct personal care to hospice patients in their homes and follow each patient’s Plan of Care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

This role emphasizes comfort, dignity, and quality of life, including assistance with bathing, meals, mobility, and emotional support for families. A valid CNA license, 18+ and driving access are required, along with reliable transportation

Qualifications

• Active CNA license in state of practice.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to pass background, consumer report, and drug test.
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct personal care including bathing, dressing, and hygiene.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and exercises per staff.
• Support meals, feeding, and light housework.
• Monitor patient condition; report changes to RN.
• Administer routine skin care to prevent breakdown.
• Maintain documentation and HIPAA compliance.
• Coordinate with RN Case Manager.
