Maxim Healthcare in Phoenix is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to work with an autistic pediatric patient at school and at home, including G-tube and Tracheostomy care. Schedule is Monday-Thursday 7:00am-5:00pm with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Current RN license for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility RN contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate client care for contracted services.
• Initiates the plan of care and requests revisions as patient status changes.
• Implements therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on diagnosis and goals.
• Responds to changes in patient condition and reports to physician or supervisor.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed and documents effectiveness.
• Reviews plan of care and protocols and identifies areas for healthcare teaching, care coordination, and discharge planning.

Pay: $38 - $40 per hour

Maxim Healthcare in (Phoenix) is hiring for a Registered Nurse (RN) to work with an autistic pediatric patient at school and at home. The patient is needing G-tube and Tracheostomy care from Monday-Thursday 7:00am-5:00pm.

Responsibilities:

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to client(s) receiving contracted services, as required


• Initiates the plan of care when directed and requests from prescriber any necessary revisions as patient status and needs change


• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals


• Intervenes as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and reports such changes to appropriate physician or supervisor


• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, as well as, monitors and documents effectiveness of intervention


• Reviews plan of care and program protocols and identifies areas for healthcare teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting and discharge planning needs, as applicable

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.


• Current Health Certificate (per facility Registered Nurse (RN) contract or state regulation).
