CHRISTUS HomeCare is hiring a Full-Time Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in Tyler, TX, covering the Kaufman area. The role supports patients in their homes, following a defined plan of care under a supervising Physical Therapist.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice.
• Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Follow all state laws governing home care physical therapy and perform only procedures defined by the supervising PT.
• Instruct and assist patients with active and passive exercises, gait training, ADLs, and mobility.
• Observe, record, and report patient response to treatment to the supervising PT and care team.
• Educate patient, family, and caregivers on therapy areas within the PT assistant scope.
