Mederi Caretenders Home Health in Vero Beach, Florida is hiring a Full-Time Occupational Therapist to join our passionate team. You will assess and evaluate patient needs related to functional status, activities of daily living, fine motor coordination, home assessments and adaptive equipment within home health care.

Primary responsibilities include conducting assessments, documenting CMS requirements, coordinating with physicians and the health care team, and delivering evidence-based OT care.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy licensure in state of practice
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance or access to dependable vehicle
• Preferred CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Provides OT services within scope of practice and plan of care
• Evaluates functional status and CMS documentation needs; consults with physician
• Observes, records and reports patient responses to treatment
• Conducts assessments of function using appropriate tests
• Capable of working in diverse home environments and demographics
