Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy licensure in state of practice.
• Current driver’s license and access to dependable vehicle or public transportation.
• Preferred CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
• Good communication, writing, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides services within the scope of Occupational Therapy as defined by state laws and plan of care.
• Evaluates patient’s functional status and needs; consults with physician for therapy plan of care.
• Observes, records, and reports patient response to treatment and condition changes to nurse supervisor and physician.
• Conducts patient assessments using functional ability tests.
• Function in diverse home settings regardless of age, race, creed, or disability.
