Job summary

The Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation is seeking a full-time Host/Cashier to handle guest check transactions, food running, bussing, and host interactions with courtesy and in line with TRMF service standards.

Operates POS, processes cash and credit, ensures change accuracy, and issues receipts. Maintains security of cash and adheres to opening/closing procedures while supporting food service and dining area upkeep.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Presents self in a professional manner to guests and teammates.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, coworkers and managers.

Responsibilities

• Operates a Point of Sales System and processes cash and card payments with receipts.
• Provides consistently high levels of customer service.
• Keeps cash secure and follows till procedures for opening/closing shifts.
• May assist food service team with setup/cleaning before/after meals.
• Restocks beverage area and maintains service ware and condiments.
• Maintains clean, sanitary dining area and equipment per health regulations.
• Seating system operation and menu explanations to guests.
• Delivers friendly, helpful service and thanks guests on exit.
• Assists guests with requests to ensure a great dining experience.
• Models respect, dignity, and integrity for colleagues at all times.
• Participates as a team to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
