Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. in Moscow, ID is seeking a Full-Time Customer Service Supervisor or Full-Time Selling Floor Supervisor to join our front end leadership team.

This role supervises store operations, trains and coaches associates, and partners with store management to drive results and create exceptional customer experiences. You’ll promote safety, build diverse teams, recruit and onboard new staff, and help plan weekly workloads while maintaining Burlington’s competitive pay and associate

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience within a retail environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Ability to move/handle/lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more and to stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all store functions and associates as Manager on Duty.
• Maximize sales through training, development, and coaching of direct reports.
• Promote safety for customers and associates by following guidelines.
• Cultivate a diverse culture based on teamwork and collaboration.
• Handle issues and supervise front-end operations to ensure excellent customer service.
• Reinforce Asset Protection strategies to reduce shortages.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates.
• Participate in weekly workload planning meetings.
• Support Community Relations initiatives through company programs.
• Coordinate meal/break periods and monitor schedule adherence.
