Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents on campus. You will live in student homes, supervise about 8-13 students, and support their academic, emotional, and social development.

The role is a two-person, on-campus assignment with a nine-on, three-off schedule. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, guiding students, administering medications, and coordinating activities.

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth or volunteers.
• Two-person role; married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
