Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is seeking married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. This on-campus role involves living in student homes with about 8–13 students, providing care, supervision, and guidance to support their academic, emotional, and social development.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing routines, administering medications, driving to activities, leading devotions and Sunday Chapel, and budgeting.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person couple role; married for at least two years.
• Both spouses age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children in the home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Ability to obtain driver certification for school vans.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and oversee student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan developmental events.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
