Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes and guiding a group of 8-13 students. This role supports academic, emotional, and social development in a family-like setting, with nine days on duty followed by three off.

Upon hire, couples may transition to placed houseparents living with the same group of students. Compensation includes housing, meals when on duty, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two-spouse, legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.
• Experience working or volunteering with youth.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational events.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
