Advanced Medical Transport (AMT) is seeking a full-time Basic EMT to join our team serving Peoria, Pekin, and Chillicothe. AMT provides emergency and scheduled ambulance services in Central Illinois, with a strong community focus and a positive image.

You will examine patients to determine needed care, provide emergency assistance, document care details, and transport patients while upholding confidentiality and safety standards. AMT offers competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Illinois EMT license.
• Current American Heart Association BLS CPR certification.
• Valid Illinois driver's license.
• 1 year of experience in an emergency care setting preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

Now hiring for full-time Basic EMT positions in the Peoria area!Advanced Medical Transport (AMT) is the premier provider of emergency and scheduled ambulance services in Central and Western Illinois, as well as parts of Iowa. AMT is a private, not-for-profit organization operated for community benefit.Our EMTs are responsible for caring for patients in emergency response situations, during interfacility transports, and during standby events. EMTs at AMT work 12 or hour shifts in the Peoria, Pekin and Chillicothe area.
