Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Experience with safe lifting and transporting procedures.
• Knowledge of freight movement forms (shipping orders, manifests, freight bills).
• Ability to monitor shipment locations using the dock yard management system.
• Ability to operate a handheld tablet and related devices.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight on trailers using a forklift, pallet jack, or manually while complying with DOT guidelines.
• Transport freight throughout the service center.
• Monitor freight locations with the yard management system.
• Read shipping labels and complete freight movement forms.
• Secure freight inside trailers using straps and airbags.
