The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and adherence to DOT guidelines while contributing to reliable deliveries. The successful candidate will handle freight labeling, manifests, and related documents, and work across the service center to support warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Experience with safe lifting and freight handling procedures.
• Familiarity with freight movement forms (shipping orders, manifests, freight bills).
• Ability to monitor shipment locations using dock yard system.
• Must be available to meet customer pickup and delivery schedules.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload freight on trailers using forklift or manually per DOT rules.
• Transport freight within the service center on various surfaces.
• Monitor freight locations with the Dock Yard Management System.
• Read shipping labels and complete freight forms as needed.
• Secure freight inside trailers with pallets, straps, and airbags.
