Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Experience with safe lifting and freight transport procedures.
• Knowledge of loading techniques such as tight and cross loading.
• Ability to utilize the dock yard management system.
• Availability for all shifts to meet customer schedules.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload freight on trailers using forklift or manually in DOT-compliant manner.
• Move freight within the service center on non-forgiving surfaces.
• Monitor freight locations with the Dock Yard Management System.
• Read shipping labels and complete freight movement forms.
• Secure freight inside trailers using pallets, straps, and airbags.
