The Verland Foundation Inc. Cheswick, Pennsylvania, is seeking a Direct Support Professional to join the Reaghard House team. This full-time, non-exempt role provides exceptional care to residents with complex physical, medical and intellectual needs under individualized plans.

You will work 36 hours per week (6am-6:30pm) on Mon, Fri and Sat, with a $2,000 sign-on bonus. 2 weeks of paid training, comprehensive benefits, and ongoing support are provided.

Qualifikationen

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Ability to lift and transfer.
• Background, Physical, and Drug screening required.

Aufgaben

• Enrich and support the lives of residents while maintaining a safe environment.
• Encourage skill development through active treatment activities.
• Implement individualized programs; record observations and daily progress notes.
• Participate in planning social, home, and recreational activities.
• Assist with meals and perform cleaning and laundry duties in the house.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities in Verland vehicles.
• Bathe, dress, and assist clients with personal hygiene.
• Housekeeping duties as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
