Job summary

The Verland Foundation Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional on the 2nd shift at our Main Campus in Sewickley, PA. This full-time role provides exceptional care to residents with complex physical, medical, and intellectual needs.

Benefits include a $2,000 sign-on bonus, 40-hour weeks (2pm-10:30pm on alternating weeks), and comprehensive health, retirement, and development programs. Employment is an equal opportunity opportunity.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift and transfer residents safely.
• Pass a complete Background, Physical and Drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care to residents with complex needs.
• Assist with meals, housekeeping, and personal hygiene.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Record daily progress notes and observations.
• Support planning social, home, and recreational activities.
