Job summary

Verland in Aliquippa, PA is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide exceptional care for residents with complex physical, medical, and intellectual challenges.

This full-time role offers $20.00 per hour, a $2,000 sign-on bonus, 40 hours per week (7am–3pm, Tue-Sat), and comprehensive benefits after 30 days. You will support daily living activities, transport clients, assist with meals and hygiene, and document progress in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Provide individualized care and support for residents with complex needs.
• Document progress notes and observations.
• Assist with meals, transportation, and daily living activities.

Responsibilities

• Enrich and support residents while maintaining a safe environment.
• Encourage skill development through active treatment activities.
• Implement individualized programs; record observations and daily progress notes.
• Plan social, home, and recreational activities.
• Assist with meals, housekeeping and laundry duties in the house.
• Transport clients to appointments in Verland vehicles.
• Bathe, dress, and assist clients with personal hygiene.
• Medication administration.
• Other duties as assigned.
