Job summary

The Verland Foundation Inc. in Sewickley, PA is seeking a Direct Support Professional to join our Main Campus team.

This full-time (40 hours) position involves overnight shifts (10pm–6:30am) on a bi-weekly rotating schedule and delivering exceptional care to residents living with complex needs. Responsibilities include implementing individualized programs, supporting daily living activities, and transporting residents to appointments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift and transfer individuals as needed.
• Must pass background, physical, and drug screenings.

Responsibilities

• Enrich and support the lives of residents while maintaining a safe environment.
• Encourage skill development through active treatment activities.
• Implement individualized programs; record observations and daily progress notes.
• Assist with meals, housekeeping and daily living tasks in the house.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities in Verland vehicles.
• Bathe, dress and assist clients with personal hygiene.
