Community Access Services (CAS) seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for a full-time role in Hillsboro, Oregon. You will support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live more independent, fulfilling lives and build meaningful relationships.

We offer paid training, ongoing professional development, and a comprehensive benefits package. No prior DSP experience is required—training is provided to help you succeed while making a real difference in the community.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• A valid driver’s license is required for all day-shift and swing-shift positions.
• Ability to pass a national background check.
• Ability to meet company driver approval requirements.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and assist with mobility support as needed.
• Willingness to complete required training and follow established safety and support procedures.
• Previous experience is welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful relationships with the people you support.
• Assist with cooking, personal care, hygiene, and daily living tasks.
• Encourage independence and help individuals reach personal goals.
• Support community outings, appointments, and recreational activities.
• Provide medication support according to training and procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized living environment.
• Complete required documentation accurately and consistently.
• Advocate for individual rights and preferences.
