Job summary

PACS seeks a Dietary Aide to support meal preparation, tray assembly, and timely service in resident dining areas. You will assist with meal and snack preparation as directed, deliver meals with care, and help maintain sanitation standards in a compassionate, resident-centered environment.

Reporting to the Diet Supervisor, you will follow food safety guidelines, assist with stocking supplies, and communicate needs or changes to the Dietary Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food service experience helpful, training may be provided.
• Must obtain and maintain food handlers’ certificate.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and respectful in a resident-centered environment.
• Ability to read and follow recipes and technical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal and snack preparation as directed
• Assemble trays, portion items, and help with meal service
• Deliver meals to resident rooms and dining areas with care and attention
• Wash dishes, clean equipment, and maintain sanitation standards
• Stock and rotate supplies using safe storage practices
• Follow food safety guidelines, allergy precautions, and infection control procedures
• Communicate needs, concerns, or changes to the Dietary Manager
