AVI Foodsystems is hiring a Cook at University of Mount Union in Alliance, OH. This full-time role covers Sunday 9:00 AM–7:30 PM and Monday–Thursday 12:15 PM–8:15 PM, with Fridays and Saturdays off. Duties include food prep, cooking, and presenting dishes, in a busy campus dining environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of cooking experience including food preparation.
• Strong knowledge of cooking methods, safety, and sanitation.
• Exceptional food presentation skills.
• Familiarity with general kitchen equipment and appliances.

Responsibilities

• Please customers by providing a pleasant dining experience.
• Assemble, combine, and cook ingredients.
• Maintain a sanitary kitchen.
• Attend to the detail and presentation of each order.
• Place and expedite orders.
• Prepare ingredients by following recipes; chopping and mixing ingredients.
• Complete hot meal prep by grilling, sautéing, roasting, frying, and broiling.
• Adhere to proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Maintain dating, labeling, and rotation of all items.
• Store leftovers per standards.
• Contribute to daily, holiday, and theme menus with the team.
