Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have dining services experience.
• ServSafe certification or willing to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Basic reading, writing and math skills.
• Ability to read recipes and measure portions.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present menu items according to standard recipes.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Participate in weekly cleaning routines.
• Report faulty equipment and broken or chipped tableware to supervisor.
• Record temperatures and ensure proper refrigeration.
• Ensure leftovers are cooled, stored, and dated.
• Monitor portion sizes to minimize waste.
• Supervise dietary staff in absence of Dining Services Director.
