Job summary

Mission Point Health Care is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide high-quality resident care in a Michigan long-term care setting. You will work under the supervision of the charge nurse, following care plans and promoting residents' rights, dignity, and comfort.

Responsibilities include assisting with grooming, bathing, feeding, mobility, and daily activities; documenting care in PCC; reporting changes promptly and maintaining a safe, respectful environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Must possess Michigan Certified Nurse Aide Certification or have completed a Michigan approved CNA training program and are eligible to test.
• Must be certified within 4 months of hire.
• One year of experience in the long-term care, hospice, or health care desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to residents in an environment that promotes rights, dignity, freedom of choice and individuality.
• Assist with grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, and mobility according to each resident's care plan.
• Document care provided in PCC and report changes to the Charge Nurse promptly.
• Maintain resident comfort, privacy and dignity while delivering services.
• Attend staff meetings and in-services as requested.
