Job summary

Mission Point Health Care in Michigan is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for a 2pm-10pm shift to provide quality resident care and coordinate activities with the care team. You will follow individualized care plans, report changes, and document care in PCC while maintaining dignity and safety.

Ideal candidates possess Michigan CNA certification or approved training, and have readiness to test within 4 months of hire; one year of related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Michigan Certified Nurse Aide Certification or have completed a Michigan approved CNA training program and be eligible to test.
• Certification within 4 months of hire.
• One year of experience in long-term care, hospice, or health care desired.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematics.
• Ability to verbally communicate with residents, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to residents and support department operations.
• Follow individualized care plans and report changes to the charge nurse or supervisor.
• Document care provided in PCC and adhere to infection control procedures.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, and daily living activities as needed.
• Maintain residents' rights, dignity, and privacy while delivering care.
• Attend staff meetings and respond to calls as requested.

Education

Michigan CNA certification or approved CNA training

One year of care experience (long-term care/hospice/health care) desired
