Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a compassionate CNA/Direct Care Giver to provide quality assistance with daily living activities for residents. You will support residents in mobility, meals, hygiene, and participation in community activities, while maintaining safety and dignity.

You will follow care plans, report incidents, and collaborate with the nursing team. A valid CNA license is required, CPR/First Aid certification is preferred or obtainable within 60 days, and a flexible

Qualifications

• Must possess current CNA license from the State in which the community is located and in good standing with the Board of Nursing.
• Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Must be organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.
• Must be polite and considerate of residents, visitors, and co-workers at all times.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care and assistance with activities of daily living for residents.
• Assist residents with mobility, meals, hygiene, and activities to promote independence.
• Perform housekeeping duties as directed and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Report incidents and changes in resident status to appropriate staff and document accordingly.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff to plan and coordinate care.
