Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a dedicated CNA/Direct Care Giver to deliver high-quality care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living and promoting independence. You will participate in activity programs, ensure safety, proper documentation, and effective communication with the nursing team.

The role requires current CNA licensure, ability to lift and assist with transfers, and a commitment to compassionate, respectful care for residents and families.

Qualifications

• Must possess current CNA license from the State in which the community is located and in good standing with the Board of Nursing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized individual who can work well with all levels of personnel.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and assist with resident transfer.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to become certified within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care and assistance with activities of daily living for residents.
• Assist residents with mobility and daily routines and encourage independence.
• Document resident status and report changes to supervisors and nursing staff.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow policies and procedures.
• Respond promptly to resident calls for assistance and emergencies.
• Support activity programs and assist with move-in transitions.
