Job summary

IVI RMA North America is seeking a Full-time Clinical Assistant for our Basking Ridge, NJ location. The role runs Tuesday-Saturday from 6am-2pm, with a salary range of $20.00-$24.00 hourly. The team supports physicians and provides hands-on patient care to deliver high-quality service.

Responsibilities include assisting with clinical procedures, documenting ultrasound measurements, and maintaining exam rooms. Prior women’s health experience is preferred and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• 6+ months Medical Assistant experience in a physician practice.
• Experience in women’s health is preferred.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and some evenings.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physicians with clinical procedures.
• Document ultrasound measurements and chaperone ultrasounds.
• Maintain exam rooms and stock rooms.
• Manage clinical supplies inventory.
• Provide patient information and reassurance before, during, and after procedures.

Salary Range: $20.00 To $24.00 Hourly

IVI RMA North America has a need for a Clinical Assistant for our Basking Ridge, NJ location. This is a full-time role working Tuesday-Saturday from 6am-2pm.

The Clinical Assistant will promote and restore patients’ health by assisting in the nursing process and supporting physicians and other multidisciplinary team members with hands‑on patient care. You will help to create a positive experience for our patients and ensure that patients receive high-quality service by assisting clinical team with patient care.

Essential Functions and Accountabilities:

• Assist Physicians with clinical procedures
• Follow proper protocols for all procedures
• Accurately document ultrasound measurements, provider comments and use appropriate stim templates while chaperoning ultrasounds.
• Clean exam rooms and equipment per protocol.
• Set up and stock examination and procedure rooms.
• Maintain clinical supplies inventory.
• Specimen collection, processing for in-house and outside laboratories.
• Manage Lanfax for outside labs, reports, results. Enter results and email to provider team for review.
• Provide patients with information regarding upcoming procedures and reassurance/comfort before, during and after procedures.

Academic Training:

• Completion of Certified Medical Assistant Program – preferred
• Studies level: Certification
• Studies area: Nursing/healthcare assistant
• Studies area: Phlebotomy Program

Position Requirements/Experience:

• 6+ months experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician practice
• Prior experience in women’s healthcare – preferred
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings

Technical Skills:

• knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel – required
• EMR experience - preferred
