Job summary

IVI RMA North America is seeking a Part-Time Clinical Assistant for our Freehold, NJ clinic. The role supports physicians and the clinical team, delivers hands-on patient care, and helps create a positive patient experience.

The position offers mornings, 5:30am-9:30am, Monday through Friday with rotating weekends and holidays. Candidates should have at least 6 months of Medical Assistant experience and prefer certification; proficiency in Microsoft Office and EMR is preferred.

• Completion of Certified Medical Assistant Program (preferred).
• Studies level: Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physicians with clinical procedures.
• Follow proper protocols for all procedures.
• Accurately document ultrasound measurements and provider comments.
• Clean exam rooms and equipment per protocol.
• Set up and stock examination and procedure rooms.
• Maintain clinical supplies inventory.
• Specimen collection and processing for in-house and outside laboratories.
• Provide patients with information regarding upcoming procedures and reassurance before, during, and after procedures.

Part-Time Clinical Assistant

Salary Range: $20.00 To $24.00 Hourly

IVI RMA North America has a need for a Part-Time Clinical Assistant for our Eatontown, NJ clinic. This position will work mornings Monday-Friday from 5:30am-9:30am with rotating weekends and holidays.

The Clinical Assistant will promote and restore patients’ health by assisting in the nursing process and supporting physicians and other multidisciplinary team members with hands‑on patient care. You will help to create a positive experience for our patients and ensure that patients receive high-quality service by assisting clinical team with patient care.

Essential Functions and Accountabilities:

• Assist Physicians with clinical procedures
• Follow proper protocols for all procedures
• Accurately document ultrasound measurements, provider comments and use appropriate stim templates while chaperoning ultrasounds.
• Clean exam rooms and equipment per protocol.
• Set up and stock examination and procedure rooms.
• Maintain clinical supplies inventory.
• Specimen collection, processing for in-house and outside laboratories.
• Manage Lanfax for outside labs, reports, results. Enter results and email to provider team for review.
• Provide patients with information regarding upcoming procedures and reassurance/comfort before, during and after procedures.

Academic Training:

• Completion of Certified Medical Assistant Program – preferred
• Studies level: Certification
• Studies area: Nursing/healthcare assistant
• Studies area: Phlebotomy Program

Position Requirements/Experience:

• 6+ months experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician practice
• Prior experience in women’s healthcare – preferred
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings

Technical Skills:

• knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel – required
• EMR experience - preferred
