Job summary

University of South Alabama's Environmental Services department seeks to hire three Environmental Services Aide I on a full-time basis at Main Campus. Duties include routine housekeeping, cleaning offices and classrooms, restroom scrubs, trash removal, floor maintenance, and restocking supplies. Regular attendance and ability to schedule overtime are required.

Working days are Monday through Friday, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with the position located on the Mobile campus.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine housekeeping and custodial duties.
• Maintains floors and carpets with scheduled vacuuming.
• Cleans offices and classrooms including furniture and boards.
• Replenishes chalk and empties trash.
• Scrubs restrooms and fixtures.
• Refills soap and towel dispensers.
• Polishes mirrors and fixtures.
• Cleans glass reachable by ladder.
• Regular and prompt attendance.
• Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required.
• Related duties as required.
