Job summary

Sheridan Ohio is seeking a Manufacturing Technician-Bindery for a 7a–7p day shift. This full-time position trains you to run high-speed bindery equipment, with opportunities for overtime and a long-term career in print manufacturing.

You will perform binder setup and maintenance, supervise crew, train assistants, and ensure quality throughout the production process. Hazmat tasks may occur as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Good mechanical and organizational skills.
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable with basic tools.
• Able to read simple instructions and measurements.
• Good math skills.
• Team player with leadership potential.
• Physically able to lift 30–100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain the Perfect Binder.
• Supervise and train crew members.
• Train Assistant Operator and other crew members.
• Delegate work to crew members.
• Customize orders to specifications.
• Maintain quality and quantity standards.
• Handle paperwork and forms.
