Job summary

Sheridan Ohio is seeking a Manufacturing Technician-Bindery for the day shift (7a–7p), full-time with competitive pay and overtime opportunities. This hands-on role trains you to operate high-speed bindery equipment and contribute to book and print production.

You will set up and maintain the Perfect Binder, supervise crew, and learn packaging and finishing tasks while ensuring quality and safety on the production floor. Training and career growth are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must be able to learn and operate high-speed bindery equipment.
• Mechanical and organizational skills are essential.
• Reading and interpreting basic job instructions and measurements.
• Must be a reliable team player who can lead and direct crew.
• Ability to lift 30–100 lbs and work on a fast-paced production floor.

Responsibilities

• Perform all setup, operation and maintenance of the Perfect Binder.
• Oversee work performance and training of assigned crew members.
• Train Assistant Operator and other crew members.
• Delegate/assign work duties to crew members.
• Customize orders to specifications and maintain quality standards.
• Complete paperwork and related forms.
