Job summary

Dolce Bakery in Prairie Village, KS is seeking a Baker and Production Team Member to mix, prep, bake, clean and support operations, performing varied kitchen tasks.

You will follow Dolce's recipes and methods for cake batters, cookies, scones, custards, fillings, icings, yeasted and laminated doughs; receive and store inventory; maintain equipment; assist deliveries; help organize pantry, fridge and freezer; train others; communicate openly with the team.

Qualifications

• Bakery production experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mix, prep, bake and clean to support bakery operations.
• Follow Dolce Bakery recipes and methods for cakes, cookies, scones, custards, fillings and icings.
• Receive and store inventory items and maintain kitchen equipment.
• Duties may include taking deliveries and reorganizing pantry, fridge, freezer.
• Train and assist other production team members as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain friendly, open team communication.

Baker and Production Team Member

The purpose of this team member is to mix, prep, clean and bake to support the operations of Dolce Bakery. This position is responsible for multiple and varied kitchen tasks.

Key Responsibilities include a thorough knowledge and understanding of preparation, mixing methods, completion, and baking all Dolce Bakery recipes:

• Cake batters + Cakes
• Cookie doughs + Cookies
• Scone doughs + Scones
• Custards + Tortes
• Curds + Fillings + Icings
• Yeasted + Laminated Doughs
• Properly receiving + storing inventory items
• Duties may also include clean and maintain kitchen equipment, dishes
• take deliveries as needed,
• rearranging kitchen storage/organization pantry/fridge/freezer and d eep cleaning tasks
• Train and assist other production team members as needed
• Follow all safety protocols to ensure the safety of all employees and customers
