Job summary

Burlington Stores in Memphis is seeking a Full-Time Retail Stocking Team Supervisor to lead the Back of House/Receiving area. You’ll work closely with Store Management, directing daily operations, receiving deliveries, unloading cartons, and ensuring products flow smoothly to the sales floor.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of supervisory experience in off-price or big-box environments, strong people skills, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience within an off-price, big box, or a specialty environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Ability to move/handle/lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more, and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead merchandise progression: receiving deliveries, unloading and sorting cartons, and moving goods to the sales floor.
• Ensure back-of-house cleanliness, setup and organization to standard.
• Reinforce Asset Protection strategies to minimize shortages and losses.
• Promote safety for customers and associates by following company guidelines.
• Foster a diverse culture based on teamwork and collaboration.
• Ensure policy compliance and drive productivity metrics for the team.
• Direct associates and workload to achieve store objectives.
• Coach associates, recognize performance, and support onboarding of new hires.
• Participate in weekly workload planning meetings and community relations activities.
• Coordinate meal/break periods and monitor schedule adherence.
