Job summary

Academies of Math and Science is seeking a passionate 4th Grade English Language Arts teacher for the 2026-2027 school year at our Peoria campus. The role emphasizes rigorous standards-aligned instruction, foundational literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking in a high-expectation classroom.

The teacher will differentiate instruction, use data to plan interventions, and collaborate with grade-level teams and families to support students' growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
• Arizona teaching certification in a relevant subject area or equivalent K–12 license.
• Minimum of three years of K–12 teaching experience; SEI endorsement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver standards-aligned instruction using AMS curriculum.
• Differentiate instruction to meet varied learner needs.
• Use data to plan interventions and monitor student progress.
• Establish a structured, positive classroom environment and PBIS.
• Engage families through regular communication and conferences.
