Job summary

World Wide Technology (WWT) is hiring an Internal WWT IT Team analyst embedded with a software development group. You will write stories, track work, test releases, and help own a product area end to end. This is not a pure reporting role; you’ll drive outcomes with stakeholders and developers.

You will groom requirements, create clear acceptance criteria, and use data to guide decisions, while advocating for customers and ensuring smooth deployments across platforms.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as a business analyst, product analyst, or similar role supporting software development.
• Experience writing user stories with acceptance criteria and participating in grooming.
• Gathered and documented requirements with support from senior staff when ambiguous.
• Tested features before release and validated fixes in production.
• Pulled or built reports or dashboards used to make decisions.
• Able to work across web apps, mobile apps, backend APIs, and SQL to trace issues.

Responsibilities

• Build trust with stakeholders, dev team, QA, and UX designers.
• Advocate for the customer.
• Translate requirements into stories with clear acceptance criteria and grooming.
• Keep the board current and know what is in flight and next.
• Lead stakeholder meetings and sessions; own smaller sessions.
• Test features and releases; ~10–15% of time on testing.
• Pull product usage data to support stakeholder decisions.
• Triage ServiceNow tickets for product areas with urgency and customer focus.
• Maintain release documentation for processes and changes.
• Support root cause analysis of production issues.
