Job summary

TRM Labs is seeking an early-career Product Engineer to grow quickly while shipping real-world features that support our mission of a safer financial system. You’ll work with mentorship from experienced engineers, product managers, and designers, touching the full stack from React to Postgres and APIs.

You’ll contribute to core products and internal tools, with a focus on building scalable, well-tested code and delivering value to customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or closely related field (completed by Summer 2026).
• 1–2 software engineering internships or equivalent project experience.
• Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript and interest in full-stack development (React, Node.js, Postgres).
• Eagerness to learn; receptive to feedback and curious about unfamiliar systems/tools.
• Strong communication; ability to explain thinking clearly and keep teammates updated.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship full-stack features across TRM’s core products and internal tools with mentorship.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to clarify requirements and break down complex problems into shippable work.
• Learn to design and build scalable APIs and services with performance and maintainability in mind.
• Write clean, tested, and well-documented code delivering value to customers and stakeholders.
• Contribute to a culture of feedback, pair programming, and continuous improvement.
