Job summary

TRM Labs is hiring a pragmatic full-stack engineer to build reliable, scalable software used by customers and internal teams. You will design backend APIs and work across frontend and backend layers to support TRM’s mission of a safer financial system for billions of people.

You’ll operate in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment with a weekly sprint rhythm, and contribute to the API product suite while collaborating with stakeholders and mentors.

Qualifications

• Experience building and operating scalable production-grade services (Node.js, Python, Go or similar).
• Proficiency in frontend development with React/TypeScript and high-performance UIs.
• Understanding relational/analytical databases (Postgres, BigQuery).
• Ability to translate customer needs into technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain public APIs as part of the API Product suite.
• Design and implement scalable backend and distributed systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to transform a functional vision into a tangible roadmap with clear outcomes.
• Support internal teams through shared engineering services and functionalities.
• Build cross-functional relationships to understand and empower the mission end to end.
