Job summary

Cadmus is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to join our team on a multi-year Federal contract. You will develop, enhance, and maintain modern web applications using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Angular and REST APIs, working across layers and with relational databases.

The role emphasizes hands-on Java/Spring, front-end Angular/AngularJS, and collaboration within Agile teams. Preference for Azure, containers, and DevOps practices to support modernization and delivery objectives.

Qualifications

6+ years of professional software development experience.
3+ years of hands-on Java/Spring development experience.
3+ years of Angular/AngularJS development experience.
Experience on Agile/Scrum development teams.
Strong Spring ecosystem experience (Spring Boot, MVC, Security, Data/JPA/Hibernate & REST).
Proficient front-end with Angular/AngularJS; TypeScript, HTML5, CSS.

Responsibilities

Participate in the full Agile software development lifecycle.
Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise apps using Java and Spring/Spring Boot.
Develop responsive web apps with Angular, AngularJS, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS.
Create RESTful services using Spring Boot and integrate with backend databases.
Mentor junior developers through code reviews and guidance.
Develop unit/integration tests and support automated testing.
