Job summary

OpenAI is seeking a full-stack engineer to define and build a new class of learning experiences for customers and partners. You will own the technical vision, ship first versions end-to-end, and drive instrumentation, evaluation, and reliability from prototype through launch.

You will collaborate with education, engineering, design, data, and content teams to translate learning goals into concrete product requirements and reusable UI patterns.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience building user-facing products with hands-on delivery and leadership.
• Strong full-stack skills with modern frontend (TypeScript/React) and backend services.
• Experience in 0-to-1 or fast-moving product environments with evolving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own the vision and execution for OpenAI's native learning offering.
• Build end-to-end product experiences from prototype to production.
• Design core systems: learning state, content, telemetry, evaluation, and reuse.
• Create reusable components and internal tools for partners to develop and test learning experiences.
• Collaborate with Education, Engineering, data, content, and customer-facing teams to shape requirements and metrics.
