Job summary

Sift is seeking a motivated full-stack engineer to join Atlas, our Continuous Engineering team, in San Francisco. You will own features end to end, spanning backend and frontend, and collaborate with Customer Success and Product to turn customer requests into value-added features.

Expect cross-product exposure, modern tech stack, and a focus on shipping with quality. You should bring 3+ years in React development, backend experience, and a customer-centric mindset.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building React applications with React Query/Router, plus familiarity with testing tools like Jest and Cypress.
• At least 1 year of backend experience; willingness to work with Ruby on Rails or Java.
• Focus on delivering customer value and results, not just writing code.
• Comfort moving between different products and codebases.
• Strong communication, collaborative, team-first approach, CS degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and deliver customer-facing features end to end across frontend and backend.
• Work with Customer Success and Product to transform requests into features.
• Contribute to backend services in Ruby on Rails, Java, and other parts of the stack.
• Maintain tooling and engineering practices to enable reliable delivery.
