Job summary

Sift Science, Inc. in San Francisco is hiring for a full-stack software engineer on the Atlas Continuous Engineering team.

You will build customer-facing features end to end across frontend and backend, with emphasis on frontend work using React and React Query, while collaborating with Customer Success and Product to deliver requested improvements. You will work across Payments, Dispute Management, and other areas, contribute to backend services, and help maintain tooling and engineering

Qualifications

• 3+ years building React applications with React Query and React Router; familiarity with Jest and Cypress.
• At least 1 year of backend experience in any language; willingness to work with Ruby on Rails or Java.
• Focus on delivering customer value and outcomes, not just writing code.
• Comfort moving between different products and codebases; strong collaboration skills.
• A CS degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and deliver customer-facing features end to end across frontend and backend.
• Work with Customer Success and Product to translate requests into features.
• Contribute to multiple product areas (Payments, Account Takeover, Dispute Management, API).
• Contribute to backend services and improve engineering practices.
• Help maintain tooling and processes to enable reliable delivery.
