Job summary

Sift is seeking a full-stack engineer to build and deliver customer-facing features across both frontend and backend. You will collaborate with Customer Success and Product, turning requests and bug reports into delivered solutions, touching multiple product areas and evolving with time.

Strong React experience is required, with a willingness to work across the stack. Backend exposure in Ruby on Rails or Java is a plus. In-person final rounds may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building React applications (React, React Query, React Router) and familiarity with Jest/Cypress.
• At least 1 year backend experience in any language; Ruby on Rails or Java experience is a plus.
• Focus on customer impact and delivering results, not just writing code.

Responsibilities

• Build and deliver customer-facing features end to end across frontend and backend.
• Collaborate with Customer Success and Product to translate requests into features.
• Work across Payments, Account Takeover, Dispute Management, Console, Workflows, and API as needed.
• Contribute to backend services in our stack and improve tooling and engineering practices.
