Job summary

Sift is hiring for a product engineering role where you own a product area, talk directly with customers, and drive features from MVP to full release. You’ll work across frontend, APIs, and backend services, with a focus on building reliable agentic systems that reason over large-scale time-series data and hardware context.

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience building frontend apps with React/NextJS.
• Experience building APIs or backend services (Go/Python/Rust).

Responsibilities

• Talk directly to customers and partner with product to define agent capabilities.
• Design, ship, and operate agentic systems over large-scale time-series data.
• Build dependable tool surfaces and sandboxed execution for agent-generated code.
• Develop and maintain MCP server for telemetry queries.
• Contribute across the full stack (frontend, APIs, deployment).
• Create evaluation suites to measure quality, latency, and costs.
