Job summary

Engineering11 is hiring a full-stack engineer to own feature delivery end-to-end, from the React UI to the database. You’ll work across Next.js front end, Tailwind, ShadCN, NestJS services, and shared TypeScript SDKs, with a Cloud-focused backend in Hono.

We value someone who ships production features, owns a stack across SQL/NoSQL data layers, Firestore, Pub/Sub, and Google Cloud services, and who uses AI to move quickly through codebases while delivering reliable, scalable software.

Qualifications

• Strong TypeScript across front end and back end, shipping production features end to end.
• Solid React experience with Next.js, Tailwind, and ShadCN.
• Experience building backend services with NestJS and shared TS SDKs.
• Owns a feature from UI to database and can work across codebases alone.
• Experience with a hybrid data layer: SQL (Postgres or MSSQL) and Firestore, with migrations.
• Hands-on with Google Cloud services (Cloud Run/Functions/Tasks) and event-driven workflows (Pub/Sub).
• Good testing habits with Jest and disciplined releases (semver, conventional commits).

Responsibilities

• Build and ship complete features on your own, from React UI to database.
• Design and build clean, responsive interfaces with React, Next, Tailwind, and ShadCN.
• Develop and maintain backend features in NestJS and shared SDKs.
• Evolve the data layer across SQL and Firestore with safe migrations.
• Build event-driven workflows with Pub/Sub, Cloud Tasks, and Cloud Functions.
• Own production health: logging, tracing, debugging, performance, and on-call.
• Move between codebases while keeping delivery on track.
