Pearson is seeking a Data Engineer / Full Stack Engineer to build scalable backend services, APIs, and data pipelines in a distributed Agile environment. The role spans Python/Django DRF, Nuxt/Vue frontend, AWS serverless, and data transformation for analytics and operations.

The ideal candidate will work across backend, frontend, cloud infra, and data engineering, contributing to secure, scalable, and maintainable systems. Compensation aligns with market ranges for senior engineers in the U.S.

Qualificações

• Proven experience designing and building scalable backend services using Python and Django/DRF.
• Strong track record delivering RESTful APIs with OpenAPI/Swagger documentation.
• Experience with data processing and engineering pipelines (ETL/ELT) with Pandas/NumPy a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python, Django, and DRF.
• Build and document RESTful APIs using DRF/OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Develop secure authentication and authorization mechanisms (django-rest-knox, OAuth, Azure AD).
• Create and maintain modern frontend applications using Nuxt 4, Vue 3, and TypeScript.
• Manage frontend state with Pinia and UI with Tailwind CSS and Nuxt UI.
• Design and optimize data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, validation, and delivery.
