Law Firms seeks a Senior Associate Employment Attorney to join a highly collaborative boutique litigation practice in California. The ideal candidate will have experience representing employees in wage & hour, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, FEHA, PAGA, and other California employment claims.

Key responsibilities include handling labor and employment matters, defending depositions, drafting pleadings and motions, and preparing matters for trial.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Open to candidates with either plaintiff-side or defense-side litigation backgrounds.

The ideal candidate will have experience representing employees in disputes involving wage & hour, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, FEHA, PAGA, and other California employment claims.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle matters involving labor and employment, Wage & Hour, Class action matters
• Represent clients, depending on the matter.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, discovery, briefs, and other litigation documents.
• Prepare matters for trial and participate in trial proceedings where applicable.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Open to candidates with either plaintiff-side or defense-side litigation backgrounds.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $200,000 – $350,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
